Children’s Day at the Bode Museum

“Art Moves Children!” was the motto of the Children’s Day at the Bode Museum on October 11, 2009, which was again supported by the Deutsche Bank AG. It was initiated by the Kaiser Friedrich-Museums-Verein and carried out in cooperation of the visitors services of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. Thanks to the help of the Ambassadors of the Deutsche Guggenheim Club, twenty children from the Jonas Haus were able to partake in the numerous actions within the frame of the Children’s Day and thus gain playful access to the works of the Bode Museum’s collection. The children were picked up from the Jonas Haus by bus in the morning and brought back home again at the end of an eventful day.
