The Japanese artist Takehito Koganezawa presents, together with his friends, the musical performance Blind Date in the Deutsche Guggenheim. The complete program of the 15th Long Night of the Museums may be found at www.lange-nacht-der-museen.de.

02.02.04 – Komachi at Sekidera, Traditional Dance, 6 p.m.
The origins of the traditional Japanese dance known as Komachi at Sekidera lie in the Noh theater of the thirteenth century. The joining together of Sekidera, Buddhist temple, and Komachi, the Japanese synonym for beautiful woman, harbors within itself the image of a hundred-year-long transformation of being and of feminine beauty.

29.02.04 – Family Brunch in the Deutsche Guggenheim, 11:30 a.m.
The Adventure of Art (for 3- to 12-year-olds) and a guided tour through the exhibition. Afterwards there is a brunch in the atrium of the Deutsche Bank.

18.03.04 – Women’s Fantasies. Concerning the Work of Miwa Yanagi, Lecture by Peter Herbstreuth, 7 p.m.
Peter Herbstreuth is contributing author to the exhibition catalogue Miwa Yanagi – Deutsche Bank Collection. Alongside his activities as an independent art critic and curator he teaches Theory of Design at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
