Special Events
The performance "Untitled," conceived by Bruce Nauman in 1969 and peformed for the first time at the Moore College of Art, Philadelphia,in 1971, will be presented in conjunction with the exhibition at the Deutsche Guggenheim by dancer Noreen Guzman de Rojas under the direction of Cecs Gilbert. During the ten one-hour-long sessions, the dancer will imagine her "Body as a Cylinder" through a simultaneously mental and physical activity.

Members of the ensemble echo of the Hochschule fόr Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin will present music by John Cage and Steve Reich as well as by further composers which inspired Nauman. The concert will take place in the exhibition space. Conception and production: Konstantia Gourzi.

" Literary-Philosophical Escapades into the Structure of Nauman's Work, Dr. Christine Hoffmann, 7:00 p.m.
Dr. Christine Hoffmann curated the exhibition "Samuel Beckett/Bruce Nauman" in the Kunsthalle Wien and is contributing author to the exhibition catalogue "Bruce Naumans: Theaters of Experience." Alongside her activities as an independent curator, she directs the Kunstverein LandKunstLeben, Buchholz.
